PELLA IN JORDAN: A Window to the Past

A production of Astarte Resources

The site of Pella in Jordan has been continuously occupied for over 10,000 years.  This largely unknown history – spanning the millennia from the present day to one of the world’s earliest villages – has been unearthed by many archaeologists who have helped to peel back the pages of time. To shed light on their work, this video first visits the major ancient sites of the region before joining the archaeologists at Pella as they use an array of techniques to piece together the site’s long and fascinating history.
